Tripp has always loved making people laugh and making films. In November of 1978 Tripp starred in his first picture called the Ultrasound. Four months later he was born and his passion for film decreased as his passion for baby food increased. In elementary school Tripp began to direct a few films. His most notable film was unnamed, but it starred Tripp’s dad in the front yard swinging a golf club. Tripp not only directed the film, but he shot it as well, which enabled his father to watch his swing that evening in order to make corrections. Tripp attended Parkview High School, in which his crowning achievement behind graduating was in fact making a reenactment film of the Mark Twain classic Huckleberry Finn. After high school Tripp attended Asbury College in Kentucky to study film. Tripp made films throughout college and continued to do so on a regular basis after college. Tripp’s work after college has included a plethora of short films, music videos, promotional videos, highlight reels, and of course, comedy short films for dontbethatguy.
